The Beauty of Friendship

What better way to start my brand new blog, than to share that my best friend has just had her first baby. But I should rewind a little, and give you a little history.

I met her almost 13 years ago, through mutual friends. I was 18 and my direction in life was a little fuzzy. I had just begun my first serious relationship with my now ex boyfriend, and I was truly doing what we all do in life and continue to do - search for ourselves.
We became almost instant friends. She was strong willed, stubborn, and told it how it was. Which I think at that time, was exactly what I needed. Divine intervention. She was unconditional in her support for me, was never short on advice, and always, ALWAYS listened. Thinking back now, of the ups and downs, she never let me fall.
It's amazing to have a friend, who you know regardless, will have your back.
We've laughed, cried, yelled, and shared our lives with each other.
Now she is a mom, and I honestly couldn't be any more happier for her. She and her husband will be incredible parents, and I am simply ecstatic to be a new aunt <3
This is what life is all about. The love and beauty of relationships between friends and family.
I feel blessed to have the people I have in my life.
